What Inspires Me
What Motivated Me to Write These Books?
I believe in a world where we are co-inhabited and influenced by spirits. Their necessity and value to humanity are reflected in almost everything around us, yet they are often overlooked. I write about this world to bring awareness to readers of the daily influence and contributions these spirits offer.
The true origin and continuance of our existence have never been fully validated by confirmed fact. Many theories attempt to explain how we beings came to exist on this planet, but none have been definitively proven. I believe the true answer to this mystery lies beyond what most theorists are able or willing to propose. I believe it is greater than what can be explained solely through science, the human mind, or a collection of prior thoughts.
I believe the answer comes from something that supports, supplies, and motivates a world and its beings beyond the mind and physical tangibles. Current explanations contain flaws when attempting to explain how seamless evolution could arise from a temporary existence such as the thoughts of a mind or the physical offerings of a body.
Rather, the answer would seem to come from a more enduring catalyst—one capable of supporting the long-term, staged, and incremental evolution of both current and future species.
It would come from an entity that never dies. It would need to sustain and support ongoing continuity for change from one generation to the next. It must be more than a theory. It must be more than a conduit for thoughts and direction emanating from a temporary physical existence. Instead, it must be the origin of progressing thought and solutions. It must be a collector of knowledge, histories, and experiences from the beginning of time to the present, continually building upon them.
I believe this comes from the spirit. Anything less is merely a short-haul transport.
Only a spirit can provide the perpetual influence and oversight necessary for the delivery of a finished product that may take decades, centuries, or longer to unfold. This is evolution.
It is these stories of spirit chronology, their own evolution, and the argument that spirit is the true foundation supporting evolution that deserve to be told. It is these things of the spirit that motivate and drive me to write my stories.
